1. Introduction

Welcome to Trans Pacific Logistics Co. By accessing our website, requesting quotations, booking shipments, or using any of our freight forwarding, customs clearance, transportation, warehousing, or allied services, you agree to be bound by the terms described below.

These terms govern all services provided by Trans Pacific Logistics Co. within India and internationally through our partner network.

2. Definitions

Company / We / Us – Trans Pacific Logistics Co.

Client / Shipper / Consignee – The person or organization requesting or using our services.

Shipment – Cargo, parcels, containers, or documents handled by us.

3. Scope of Services

We provide logistics and support services including but not limited to:

  • Sea freight (FCL & LCL)
  • Air freight
  • Customs clearance (ports, ICDs, land borders, airports)
  • Inland transportation & multimodal movement
  • Warehousing & storage
  • Door-to-door logistics
  • Documentation & trade compliance
  • Cargo consolidation
  • Project & specialized cargo handling
  • Insurance coordination
  • Inspection & certification support

Service availability may vary depending on location, regulations, and operational conditions.

4. Client Responsibilities

The client agrees to:

  • Provide accurate and complete shipment information.
  • Ensure cargo is properly packed and labeled unless packaging services are requested from us.
  • Submit valid licenses, permits, and regulatory documents.
  • Pay all freight, duties, taxes, penalties, detention, or demurrage charges.
  • Not tender prohibited or restricted goods without prior written approval.

Any loss or delay due to incorrect information will be the client's responsibility.

5. Quotations & Pricing

All quotes are:

  • Based on information provided at the time of inquiry.
  • Subject to change due to freight rate fluctuations, carrier charges, currency changes, government levies, or unforeseen surcharges.

Final billing will be as per actuals.

6. Customs & Regulatory Compliance

We act as a facilitator. Final assessment, examination, or penalties imposed by customs or government authorities remain outside our control.

The client remains legally responsible for the declaration and authenticity of submitted documents.

7. Transit Time

Delivery schedules are estimates only. We are not liable for delays caused by:

  • Port congestion
  • Vessel or airline changes
  • Weather
  • Strikes
  • Government actions
  • Force majeure events

8. Liability Limitation

Unless covered by an agreed insurance policy:

  • Our liability is limited to the value prescribed by applicable freight or forwarding regulations.
  • We are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses, business interruption, or profit loss.

9. Insurance

Cargo insurance is not included unless specifically requested in writing.

We strongly recommend insurance coverage for all shipments.

10. Payments

Payments must be made as per agreed credit terms. Delayed payments may result in:

  • Interest charges
  • Shipment hold
  • Refusal of further services

11. Right to Lien

We reserve the right to retain cargo or documents until outstanding dues are cleared.

12. Cancellation

If a booking is cancelled after confirmation, cancellation charges from carriers, airlines, transporters, or terminals will apply.

13. Governing Law

All disputes are subject to jurisdiction of courts in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India.

14. Amendments

We may update these terms at any time without prior notice. Continued use of services implies acceptance.
